ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Annual Report Online came about in 2014 to help entrepreneurs with a simple and smart user-friendly solution for creating annual reports and tax returns. Since December 2020, we have been part of the Visma group. We take pride in being the top choice for small businesses in Sweden, offering the leading do-it-yourself solution for annual reports and tax returns. Annual report Online can be used with all accounting services on the Swedish market. Today we are approximately 10 employees spread across four different locations.

We are a brand that is part of Visma Spcs - we are a small team within a larger context. A small business feel within a stable and well-renowned company.

Currently, we are in search of a motivated Ruby on Rails developer to help advance our application tailored for small business owners in Sweden.

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

•  You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with other talented developers, becoming an essential part of a small, passionate development team.
• Your role will involve daily activities such as solving problems, implementing new features, refining the system, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.
• We are looking for someone who thrives in a small, dynamic team setting, where open communication, idea sharing, and questioning the norm are encouraged. You should be driven to improve your own skills and contribute to the technical community around you, aiming to build a positive and collaborative work environment. 
• You possess the ability to link technical solutions to user needs and effectively discuss them with other developers.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• You have 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• You have good knowledge of English both written and spoken. 
• You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle technical challenges.
• You are a skilled Ruby on Rails developer, have previous experience or curiosity about working with Ruby on Rails or having good experience with Java, Python or C#.
• You have proficiency in Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• You have experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing.
• You have knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).

• We constantly perfect our technological competence through events such as my developers days and cross-platform code reviews and so will You!
• You’ll be working with the field’s top-notch specialists and one of them will become your “coach”. 💪 Also here in Visma we have an international network of specialists within the organisation to build Your rep and skills even stronger.
• We have internal knowledge sharing sessions where we learn the newest trends in programming languages, QA, security, etc. 💻
• We also have our own library and anyone can order new books, as well as use online licences to various learning sites, get certifications, etc. 📖

• We, the employees at Visma, make the final call. 📢 You’ll be able to join 1 of 10 committees which steer the company.

Financial expectations

• Gross salary 2800-6300 EUR. 💸 Keep in mind that we are open to discuss your salary based on your competence and experience.
