As a Product Development Manager, you will lead our product development teams in Belgium and Romania. Responsibilities and work areas:

As a Product Development Manager, you will oversee the deliveries, product architecture, and scalability within the product area. This means:

• Leading and mentoring a team of 15 development colleagues across Belgium and Romania.

• Fostering a stimulating, creative, and supportive environment where team members thrive, grow professionally, and deliver their best work.

• Creating the optimal conditions for teams to perform at their peak by establishing efficient processes, encouraging collaboration, and supporting personal development.

• Championing modern technologies and architectural principles to ensure the product is scalable, secure, and ready for future growth.

• Leading initiatives to adopt engineering best practices, such as frequent releases, automation, and continuous delivery, to enhance the product development lifecycle.

• Ensuring the product aligns with its vision, meets customer needs, and drives satisfaction through continuous improvement.

• Manage ISO Certification 9001 and 27001, in close collaboration with the Managing Director, QAM, and Customer Success Manager.

• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (Customer Success and Sales) to align priorities and ensure product excellence.

• Acting as a vital management team member with a report line to the Managing Director, and playing a key role in shaping and driving strategic decisions.

• You are a good communicator with a solution-driven mindset to promote collaboration.

• You have a pragmatic approach to leveraging new technology, focusing on implementing solutions that are effective and fit for purpose.

• You are proactive, analytical, and capable of taking decisive action when the situation demands.

Qualifications:

• A completed IT technical education in computer science or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience leading product development teams.

• Expertise in crafting and delivering technical and product strategies, with:

  • Understanding of public cloud, integrations, and APIs.

  • Proficiency in modern architectural principles and practices.

  • Ability to effectively lead technical leads.

• Proven ability to improve work processes and adopt agile working methods, tailoring them to team needs.

• Solid background in modern software development, particularly in scalable architecture and migration projects.

• Familiarity with modern frameworks and cloud technologies such as .NET 8 and Azure.
