We're searching for a passionate iOS Developer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our iOS applications. As a Senior Developer, you'll play a key role in the development process, contributing to architectural decisions, implementing robust solutions, and fostering a culture of excellence.

First things first, you are not just becoming part of Visma’s e-conomic Mobile Team, you are joining a mobile community spread out in lots of different projects in Visma.

That means you have more than 200 peers, all working together to make your day to day work easier by organizing monthly sessions where you can discuss different work scenarios, find solutions together, propose new approaches or find ways to interpret new technologies.

In Visma E-conomic we build and design a cloud-based accounting product that helps companies run their businesses. More than +180.000 happy customers use our product on a regular basis and we are proud to say that Mobile is core to our product strategy (that is why we started this ad with the sentence). We have big ambitions and a lot of product opportunities where mobile features make sense.

Let’s take a look at how both sides benefit from it: by working in our mobile team you can see machine learning in action. While you can enjoy the excitement that comes with new technologies, the user’s end enjoys the easier collaboration between departments. 

While you, our mobile developer, are benefiting from a creative and clear visual on your work by using graphics and diagrams, the users are seeing a clear company overview and an improvement in the decision making process as it’s based on the concrete and solid facts provided by you.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality, performant iOS applications
• Lead and mentor junior and mid-level iOS developers
• Define and deliver major features and functionalities, taking full ownership from concept to completion
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to translate product vision into technical reality
• Write clean, well-architected, testable, and maintainable code in Swift and Objective-C
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Champion the adoption of new technologies and frameworks (ARKit, SwiftUI, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and fix complex bugs, ensuring optimal app performance and stability
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in the iOS ecosystem (Xcode, iOS SDKs, etc.)

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience developing iOS applications for iPhone, iPad, and potentially Apple Watch
• Deep expertise in Swift programming language
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns
• Proven experience with unit testing frameworks (XCTest) and UI testing tools
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• A passion for mobile development and a continuous learning mindset

Bonus Points:

• Experience with cross-platform mobile frameworks (React Native, Flutter)
• Experience with integrating with various APIs and backend services
• Experience with implementing third-party SDKs and libraries
• Experience with performance optimization techniques and memory management

• Sonarcloud for continuously measuring code quality.
• C# 7.0, MS SQL
• REST through .NET Web API
• React 16+, ES6+, Typescript, Prettier, Webpack, Rollup and more
• Variety of microservices written in Node.js, Golang , C# and server side swift
• We use AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform where we deploy hundreds of VM, several Kubernetes clusters and consume dozens of managed cloud services.
• Kubernetes and Docker on our platform, and Teamcity, Appveyor and Travis for CI/CD
