ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Visma Flyt School is a modern cloud service for school administration in Norway. More than 220 municipalities are using our solution! The solution digitises a number of processes related to the school day of teachers and students, and contributes to better collaboration between school and home.
Visma Flyt School provides school employees, guardians and students with the opportunity for a digital school-home dialogue.

This digital dialogue complements the internal reporting capabilities and mass broadcast of SMS, and sets a whole new standard for communication. The opportunity for collaboration at school / home increases with this material. In addition, it will now be a lot easier for the home to come quickly in contact with the school.

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

• You'd be responsible for the overall architecture, design and guidelines of the service. The team is accountable for the delivery of their services. Software Architect is responsible for the overall high-level design of the solution within the team.
• Define and supervise the execution of Architecture Roadmap of a service in collaboration with the entire team (software development manager, team leads, Service Owner, security etc.)
• Preparing solution designs in cooperation with the development team members and other stakeholders to ensure different perspectives are taken into account and ensure a common understanding of the solutions.
• Involvement at an early stage of requirements analysis to ensure technical choices are made appropriately and allow for the architecture to evolve.
• Consulting development teams, reviewing the code that implements the fundamental structures of the solution.
• Research of architectural patterns, tools, designs and present solutions and approaches (tech meetings, POCs).
• Maintain high-level system documentation of the service and contribution to the overall system documentation.
• Perform Architecture reviews/evaluations to improve the quality but also for risk identification and mitigation, predictability and cost-effectiveness.
• Enforcing agreed-upon approaches (ArchUnit, design reviews, architecture reviews etc.).
• Align non-functional requirements of a service with the company goals in terms of Performance, Privacy/Security, Platform compatibility/Usability, Data integrity, Recoverability, Stability/Reliability/Robustness, Scalability, Maintainability, Quality
  Ensure technical debt reaches the project and release planning.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• Strong knowledge and experience with .NET and .NET Core, including hands-on experience in architecting solutions and writing high-quality code.
• Proficient in architectural patterns, tools, and best practices.
• Familiarity with ArchUnit and similar tools for enforcing architecture standards.
• Experience in maintaining high-level system documentation and contributing to overall system documentation.
• Good written and verbal English skills.

Financial expectations

• Gross salary 4400-7500 EUR. 💸 Keep in mind that we are open to discuss your salary based on your competence and experience.
