Medior Developer – Nexus Team
Role Overview
As a Medior Developer, you will contribute to the development and expansion of our
microservices-based .NET application hosted on the Azure cloud platform.
Reporting to the Service Owner, you will work within the engineering team to implement features,
address technical challenges, and support the team’s development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Contribution and Development
- Develop and implement features for .NET-based microservices and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with senior team members to understand technical designs and translate them into code.
- Participate in code reviews, incorporating feedback, and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Actively learn and develop skills in new technologies and best practices.
2. Implementation and Support
- Implement robust, scalable, and maintainable .NET-based microservices using the latest versions of the .NET framework.
- Utilize Azure services such as Functions, Durable Functions, Service Bus, Azure Storage in cloud-native application development.
- Assist in identifying and addressing technical debt, refactoring code, and improving system design.
- Support security-driven architecture principles in development.
3. Project Collaboration
- Work closely with the Product team to understand business requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
- Participate in project planning, sprint grooming, and estimation activities to support timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Communicate effectively with the engineering team and stakeholders to align on priorities and dependencies.
- Provide technical support during the development, testing, and deployment phases of the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on C# and the .NET framework.
- Experience in building microservices-based applications, preferably in an Azure cloud environment.
- Knowledge of Azure services, including Functions, Durable Functions, Service Bus, APIM, Azure Storage.
- Experience with databases (relational and/or non-relational) and APIs.
- Self-driven and proactive person with an integrations mindset.
- Proficient in implementing highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and maintainable distributed systems.
- Understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience with MongoDB and implementing code following BPMN diagrams.
- Knowledge and interest in the field of AI, with a particular focus on AI agents.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure or .NET technologies (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, or .NET Core Developer).
