ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a driven and experienced Data Architect to lead our journey toward a fully data-driven way of working – with scalable architecture, secure data management, and maximum business value.

We are seeking a driven and experienced Data Architect to take holistic ownership of our Nordic data platform strategy, governance models, and future direction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You will enable data democratization at all levels where data quality, automation, and information security are standard practice. We already work with descriptive and predictive analytics as well as AI models across several domains, and you will help scale this to the next level.

• You will take the lead in establishing a modern, secure, and scalable Nordic data architecture that enables high data quality and clear ownership throughout the organization. This includes automated data flows from raw data to analysis and distribution, as well as easy utilization of BI, advanced analytics, and AI applications.

• You will lead our governance models and collaborations regarding data governance—ensuring that data is used responsibly, including compliance with regulations such as GDPR and information security standards. In short: you are the link between strategy and execution, and you build the culture, frameworks, and technology that make data business-critical.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Solid experience in IT and data architecture in complex environments and multi-product settings.

• Documented experience with cloud-based data platforms (BigQuery/GCP, Azure, or AWS).

• Experience with tools such as dbt, Airflow/Dagster, Amplitude, or Looker.

• The ability to work both operationally and strategically—SQL and Python are natural tools for you.

• A strong habit of securing buy-in for decisions from senior stakeholders and leading through change.

• Expertise in data modeling and effective ETL strategies.

Nice to Have

• Experience from a SaaS and/or B2B software environment.

• Experience building Data Councils or Stewardship structures.

You are structured and strategic, as well as technically strong and a "doer". You enjoy taking on the role of an evangelist for the data domain, and with clear and confident communication, you can guide colleagues and senior leaders alike in line with our data strategy. Being curious and proactive is a given! The pace is high, and so are the ambitions for where we are going!
