We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR Director to lead the entire People & Culture agenda for our rapidly expanding Romanian operations (600+ employees).
ROLE OVERVIEW
As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in the entire employee lifecycle - from "hire to retire." You will act as the primary point of contact for management and employees within your assigned departments, ensuring that our HR actions directly support ours and our partners’ business objectives. Your mission is to foster a healthy work environment, drive high levels of engagement, and act as a trusted consultant to our leadership teams and towards our partners.
We are looking for a dedicated HR professional to join us for a specific duration to cover a period of maternity leave. You will step into a key role, ensuring continuity and partnership across the organization
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Partnership & Advisory
Business Alignment: Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and business requirements, with clear prioritization and focus on business impact over process
Single Point of Contact: Serve as the subject matter expert for partners, management and team members on all HR activities, processes, and tools.
Performance & Compensation: Oversee performance management cycles and coach managers in performance differentiation, feedback quality and difficult people conversations.
Innovation enablement: Transforming HR operations through AI innovation to maximize scalability and process efficiency, where it can be applied.
Employee Experience & Engagement
Culture & Retention: Implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, increase productivity, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Employee Relations: Support our people through challenging situations by providing empathetic guidance and professional problem-solving for all employee relations concerns.
Feedback Loops: Leverage feedback loops from employees and partners to develop evidence-based programs. Act as a key information hub, providing all parties with the data and insights needed to succeed
Learning & Development: Proactively identify skill gaps and demonstrate the creativity and initiative to propose tailored training solutions. This role includes hosting internal learning sessions and facilitating them..
Talent Acquisition & Employee’ Lifecycle
End-to-End Recruitment: Manage job postings, proactive sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiations to ensure a great candidate experience.
Ensure positive manager & candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Partner with hiring managers to ensure recruitment decisions support both short‑term needs and long‑term capability and culture transformative ambitions
Onboarding & Offboarding: Lead seamless transitions for new hires and conduct insightful exit interviews to drive continuous improvement.
Compliance & Operations
Policy Management: Promote and implement HR policies & processes while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Reporting: Utilize Excel (Google Spreadsheets) and HR tools to provide analytical insights and reporting to the business.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At least 3 years of experience on a similar position (HR Business Partner);
Good knowledge of labor law and HR best practices;
Good understanding of the local market and its resources;
Comprehensive expertise across the employee lifecycle, seamlessly integrating Talent Acquisition, Operational Excellence (Admin), and Continuous Development to drive Strategic Partnership
English advanced;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Workspace tools;
Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and precisely, being able to adapt the communication style to individuals, being persuasive;
Ability to operate with sound judgment in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments with competing priorities.
Strong business orientation and comfort partnering closely with managers under delivery and performance pressure.
Client orientation skills, able to face internal & external partners, offer support, show empathy and consideration;
Organized person, able to prioritize work and manage time based on business requirements and needs, while remaining compliant with established deadlines;
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
Ability to take ownership of their work and projects;
Good listening skills.
