Maventa is an e-invoicing platform and we are responsible for a state of the art electronic invoice and document exchange hub, operating in several countries, and serving close to 300 000 companies. Our platform serves tens of millions of transactions each month. Maventa is an API-first SaaS product, and while we have a UI, it’s playing a smaller role.

Maventa is part of the Visma Group, which is Europe's largest SaaS company with a turnover of over 3.2 billion euros and 17,000 employees. We are now looking for a new colleague to join our product development team. In this role, you'll contribute to our AI-first initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and testable code, integral for our application. You'll be part of a culture that values collaborative problem-solving and innovative thinking.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You'll build and maintain features across our platform with an AI-first approach to coding. Reaching for tools like Claude Code before writing everything from scratch. Over time, you'll also help shape how we bring AI capabilities into the product itself, smarter automation, better document handling, and more intelligent integrations. We're serious about getting the most out of AI, and you'll have a real say in how that takes shape.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• At minimum 5 years of experience on software development

• An AI-first mindset when it comes to development, you default to AI tools, know their limits, and use them to do better work faster

• Prior experience with Agentic coding is a big plus

• Solid coding fundamentals; we use Ruby on Rails, but what matters more is that you create clean, testable and maintainable code

• Accountability and ownership: development, testing, documentation, releasing, monitoring and continuous improvements are an integrated part of your doings

• A good eye for API design and quality — our API is what we offer to the world, so we take it seriously

• AWS familiarity and comfort with CI/CD pipelines

• Someone collaborative, self-directed, and willing to share what they learn
