The culture at the team level

The Security and Identity team is a fully empowered team tasked with ensuring that customer data is secure through offering or developing services for use by customers and other internal teams. We are a new team so this is a great chance to build the culture together with the rest of the team. Our mission is to help enable our business in the most secure way possible through empowering teams, managing risk and developing a healthy security culture.

I spent 2019 traveling the world, taking a break to recover from burnout. After my travels, I joined Visma, where I found a place I could be the best version of myself, the version I rediscovered during this time. I am looking for incredible people who not only want to do things that matter at work, but also want to find a place where they feel safe to bring their authentic selves.

The team is responsible for Security and Identity services in e-conomic. It owns the Product Security area and helps enable the business in the most secure way possible through empowering teams, managing risk, and developing a security culture. This includes leading and managing security initiatives and activities that increase the security posture, managing tooling such as SAST tools, security training for developers and others in the Product and Engineering organization and driving remediation of security incidents.
